Child View
APSK acknowledges all children as capable learners who have individual needs, knowledge and abilities.

As a profession we recognise the vital importance of the early childhood years.
As part of our daily practice we extend children's knowledge and skills through a holistic educational program.
We know children learn in a variety of ways and adapt learning to engage each individual.
We appreciate the importance of our role in what we do in helping develop the future of our society.
Families & Community
We provide a family centred atmosphere, built on respect and believe in strong reciprocal relationships with families, friends, schools and communities.
We value the diversity and cultural perspective of families as well as the communities in which they live.
We encourage families to participate alongside the service and share their wealth of knowledge, experiences and culture.
Community support and engagement is widely encouraged as we believe
'it takes a village to raise a child'.
Environment
Our environment is seen as the third teacher.
Our environment is enriching, nurturing and fosters the wellbeing of all stakeholders.
We embrace our learning environments and provide a range of natural and built spaces encouraging a connection to our
place, to the land and within the wider community.Environments are inclusive and provide children a place to play, learn and explore.
The environment that we create will be one of a second home, emphasising an interactive, warm, friendly and calm space.

At APSK we work together to create a ‘staff family’ environment and a meaningful culture through communication and the
celebration of our differences.We have a range of dedicated and diverse staff who through a feeling of ownership,
